The Cricketers Inn - East Hampshire

We had a brilliant stop at this beautiful, clean pub. we sat in their well maintained garden at the back and enjoyed a really nice meal. I was worried that eating would be disappointing, because the menu was so long, but actually everything was really nice, good eating, well presented and delicious. and cheap. the staff had also moved an Easter hunting, which was very generous! it was also surrounded by beautiful landscape.

On a very wet journey to collect an esstic (think biblical and rivers for roads) we ran too late for a meal in a chain restaurant closer to house (brighton) we have happened in this pub and tried our luck for a table for 5 around 1700. they had not only one table, but one whole day carvery and had just refreshed the veg. the food is large portions and so delicious! our children had all the small portions and that was more than enough. the adult medium was huge and I don't think we could have made the big plate. puddings are as they would expect from a local pub. moorish and large portions. good selection of soft drinks for drivers as well as ales and beer for the happy few who do not drive. if we are in future in the region (and perhaps even if not) we will come back

What a great place, I was in a group of seven who stayed overnight. I recommend this pub hotel if you need overnight accommodation. the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially mention mike who serves us breakfast. eating was varied and pleasant. the beer was excellent taylor’s landlord if they want to drink that.

After a walk in the nature reserve. the staff were friendly and welcoming. eating was nice! dogs welcome what was great.

Me and my wife visited the Cricketers for dinner with her three children on the 2nd of June such a friendly welcome everyone was extremely happy with their meals they were all absolutely delicious we had several rounds of drinks as well well and the final building very reasonable we will definitely be coming back we live in local area and eat out regularly and the Cricketers Inn steep was by far the best meal we had out in months highly recommend going for a meal this is a pub that has changed hands a lot over the years the new landlords actually going to make a great success of this pub
