Rose And Crown - East Hampshire

We went before it changed hands and everything was very good so we went back on Saturday and was told it had just changed owners with a new menu. Well we thought very poor the chicken portion was very small ,the spare ribs was a good portion but very dry hardly any sauce, the mussels were tasteless and not that many 12 for a main dish more rice and sauce than mussels . Burger was better. Starters were better the two Irish coffees had hardly any cream on them.total bill was £186 in that £20 service charge which we would have left a tip but not £20. Very disappointed .

A lovely lunch in beautiful surroundings with friendly welcoming service. One of our favourite places to eat. One of us is gluten free and there is a really good choice of options. Food is always delicious all year round.

Charlotte and the team are always so welcoming and the quality of food from the kitchen was great as usual specials for Burns night were excellent

Lovely atmosphere and attentive staff. Roast lunch was lovely Good and variety of options for gluten free which is why we come back

Warm welcome, lovely atmosphere, great food, delicious beer, cosy seating by the woodburner, lovely staff, a really nice pub! Good to see the gorgeous well behaved dogs in with their owners, too. Will definitely return.
