The Lloyd House Pub - East Gwillimbury

Located in a charming Lilienhaus in Mt Albert, this restaurant exudes a local vibe. Upon entering the classic black and white tiled foyer, I knew we were in for a pub-like experience. We ordered a variety of dishes including a chicken BLT, fish and chips, loaded nachos, and burgers. Everything was fantastic, but the standout was definitely the delicious fish and chips. The prices were fair and reflected the quality of the food. I would give this restaurant a perfect 10/10 rating and highly recommend it. Special recognition goes to our server who handled everything solo but still provided excellent service.

Super friendly staff. Very cozy atmosphere in winter, can't wait to go back during the summer months where they have a large outdoor section with fire pit and string lights. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food was really poor. Dry, lacked flavour. Beef souvlaki didn’t resemble anything I’ve ever had before. The penne special came to the table and it was macaroni and hamburger quite dry and bland. The chicken club was the same. Dry, flavorless. Wings seemed ok and fish and chips were passable. The spinach dip appetizer was the only thing that was good. The service wasn’t great either. We had to flag our server down for everything no checking in with the table ever. Disappointing. Update: regarding your response below, we did comment on the food issues with the server and when we tried to flag down another server her response was ‘you’ll have to wait for your server’.
