Costa Coffee - East Dorset

The staff are lovely at verwood store very hard working and professional however the manager is awful, he is rude, lazy and doesn’t care about the customer. The manager never works at pace when busy gets all the other staff to do all the work and treats staff so badly.

Extremely rude absolutely no customer service skills. 9/2/21 popped in for a coffee. Had my mask on but had to take it off to pay via my phone. I got “ put your mask on” I said “I will, but need to pay via my phone. This carried on, 3 times each time the rude rude man got worse. I eventually was allowed to pay, left there feeling really let down. I went outside to wait for my niece to go get her coffee, only one in @a time. Same sever, just as rude actually told her, NO Face ID pay????? Really really shocking service. I personally don’t carry my cards because I don’t want to touch the machines. So only pay via apple. He needs to be taught how to use his customer skills correctly.....or taught them. Won’t go there again.

I recently visited the Costa Verwood store and received outstanding customer service. I was served by a delightful young lady, whose name I unfortunately did not catch. The service was excellent and the coffee met my expectations. As a former barista maestro at Costa, I hope this feedback reaches the store and the young lady receives the recognition she deserves. All I can remember is that she had dark hair and glasses. I ordered two flat whites, a large coconut cappuccino, tiffin, Eton mess, and raspberry almond bakewell, and I was very satisfied with the service.

Popped in for a coffee whilst passing through Verwood. understaffed as are many of these places. Manager really not helpful, the way he spoke to the staff was appalling, whilst not appearing to be actually helping them! Really no need! Dirty tables and serving area just generally unkempt. Lots of things unavailable, surely food and drink should be ordered in accordingly. Verwood is a small place and there are other options for food and drink, would advise visiting one of them instead. I know it’s just a chain coffee shop but you don’t want to leave generally feeling grubby and unwanted.

Costa advertise a £2.00 breakfast on the board But it is not a £2.00 breakfast You have to purchase the drink separately and the bacon roll is £2.00. This is not advertised on the board The £2.00 is in bold letters and obviously designed to make you feel the breakfast is £2.00 This is a grossly misleading advertisement and should be reported.
