The Old Bakery - East Devon

I am thrilled that the tea room has reopened! We enjoyed a tasty lunch of pastries and soup while sitting in the lovely garden. Inside, the tea room offers a wide variety of cakes and huge portions. They also sell bread and other Vinnicombes products. Highly recommended!

The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere with a delicious variety of sandwiches, cakes, desserts, and even cream teas. We had a great experience thanks to our lovely server, Frankie, and will definitely be returning.

So disappointed the old bakery is closed this year as the museum (national trust), had beautiful service and cream tees two years ago, I hope they will be back opened 2022

This used to be one of my favorite spots in the past, but unfortunately in 2020 they no longer have a tea room because of COVID. Hopefully they will be able to reopen next year as it is a beautiful place. Unfortunately, for now, the paved tea is not available.

Super soup .... 5 green veg soup, very tasty with lovely bread roll. Mug of lemon and honey hot drink. Super carrot and walnut cake to take home for later. Superb location.
