The At Sidmouth Garden Centre

We have been visiting this restaurant for many years during our time living in Devon, and have always enjoyed fresh and delicious meals. However, our recent experience was disappointing. The Roast Beef I ordered was tough and chewy, and the entire meal was lukewarm despite being served with gravy. The roast potatoes were undercooked and clearly not prepared that morning. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, the server insisted that the potatoes were fresh, which was insulting. Although he apologized after seeing the quality of the potatoes, I understand that he is not the cook. Another table received a roast beef dinner with freshly cooked meat and potatoes, highlighting the inconsistency in quality. We will be returning to Exmouth Kings in the future, where we know we can rely on a better dining experience.

Food absolutely amazing! Everything fresh out the oven and nothing is to much trouble. Staff wonderful, beautiful view- all round great place!

Lovely staff and gorgeous meal. Can't believe the size of the lasagna. Cakes and pastries were huge and looked yummy too. Finished off with a wader around the garden centre and browse in the Christmas shop

Called in here for Sunday lunch yesterday. Roast turkey for me and honey roast chicken for hubbie. Both meals were excellent. Best roast we've eaten out in a long while. Piping hot, beautifully cooked and good value. All the staff were helpful and smiling and we were pleased to pass our feelings on to the manager. We will definitely be back with the rest of our family and friends.

Excellent food reasonable prices. Great menu lots of choice of mains desserts and yummy home made cakes. Friendly staff and quick service.
