Contribuiți la feedbackWent here for lunch with my husband. We arrived early, before it got too busy as it was half term. We both had fish and chips with coffees. Friendly service and not a long wait for food, in spite of the growing queue. The food was tasty, will definitely return
Came here for sunday lunch need to be there for 11 30 am as it gets very busy had a lovely roast beef dinner and coffees
We had lunch here in a very nice setting. I and my husband chose tomato and basil soup £5.25 each) with bread roll £0.95 each) and as a main meal ham, egg and chips £10.95 each) and to drink pot of tea £2.25 each). The soup and bread was to die for, extremely tasty and the ham was proper ham, very tasty meal. We found this place is very popular as you can buy there plants, very good choice of clothes, hats etc., kitchen ware etc. It's place I will recommend to visit.
When we arrived at the garden centre we went for a coffee then a look round. We returned later for lunch, both times we were served by a lovely young man called Brock, he was pleasant and polite. We have eaten here several times when we have been in the area, I feel the menu isn't as extensive as it used to be, they used to do a lovely ploughmans lunch. This time we had jacket potato with ham and cheese and ham, egg and chips., food was nice and hot.
We stopped at Ottery Nursery on our way home to Devon on a bank holiday Monday. Decided to have lunch in their café. It was quite busy. Seemed to be lots of queuing, lots of people and lots of staff. The only menu appeared to be the board on the wall. Ordered a toasted ciabatta roll. We sat at a table and it was not too long before our food was served. My ciabatta was OK with a reasonable amount of filling but it was quite bland. It was served with a small side salad and some crisps. The cafe was clean and large. Tables were well spaced apart. The service was good.
