The Wolf Lounge Bar Restaurant - Ealing

I highly recommend The Wolf Lounge Bar and Restaurant, especially for take away food. The service is also excellent.

Beard, stench and rude service! I do not recommend ! if you want to be healthy, avoid this place!!!!!

I wrote a couple reviews for this restaurant but now those are outdated and the restaurant has changed a significant amount overtime. Firstly the name has changed to The Fox Lounge . Secondly the decor has improved and the restaurant looks brighter and cleaner compared to the old, dark decor. However, the entertainment side is lacking and the sound and video quality is not clear and quiet. The atmosphere has also stayed the same and has not changed as it is still quiet and dead . Therefore the renovation is 7/10 The restaurant hygiene has improved immensely and is now a lot better and the tables are no longer sticky and dirty and the cutlery is not as dirty. The plates were clean but there were minor bits of dirt which were wipeable. The walls were clean due to the new renovation. Therefore the restaurant hygiene has improved from 4/10 to 8/10 which is a major improvement. The restaurant service has sadly decreased from 5/10 to 3/10 as the waiters did not check up on my family and were more interested in talking. I asked the waiter for straws and instead of giving them he just gave me a tub without even looking at me. It is absolutely terrible! In the middle of me ordering my food, the waiter stepped back and looked as if he had better things to do due to the fact that he was avoiding eye contact, which is very anti social. The restaurant will never prosper with this management and will never improve. Therefore the service and management is 3/10. Sadly, at the start the food wasn 't very good, the popadoms were stale and the peanuts tasted hard and dry. But then the food started to enhance as the spicy cauliflower was tasty and had a subtle touch of spice which lingered for a short period and then left. However the cauliflower inside had no taste. The reason I say inside is because the layer of taste was on the outside and not the inside of the dish, an easier way to explain this is like KFC chicken, the taste is on the outside, the batter, then there is nothing inside. After this my meat platter arrived and that was when the food went down hill. The lamb was dry and had half the meat burnt which had no taste, The kebabs were average and tasted alright, the wings and chicken Tikka tasted alright too. However, the paneer was rubbish and was like rubber, it had no taste and even had the texture of rubber because I could hear the paneer rubbing to my teeth and making a rubbing sound. Therefore the restaurant 's food overall was 5/10. To conclude, I do not recommend this establishment as a place to dine with family and is more of a pub for you and the lads . Therefore the average of all the scores is 4.7/10.

Was invited to this redone place good lay out large SAISHA BAR AREA garden compared to the the rest was very POOR. Had a few drinks and mixed GRILL which was good not over spiced the chicken tikka I felt was DRY the Naans were perfectly cooked we ordered Lamb chops which they didn't have in stock the excuse was they still beening marinated. The other thing I noticed that it did not look like PUB more of a restaurant

The driver was extremely rude and told me that the food is cold because he was outside for 3 minutes before I had even received the food or said anything to him he didn't even say hello he just starting ranting at me. I specifically instructed the restaurant to call me on my mobile when they had arrived, which I had provided to them on the instructions in the Just Eat. The driver was extremely aggressive and more or less threw the food at me and charged off. The food was stale cold and I called the restaurant they told me they would call me back in 10 minutes. 45 minutes later, I had to call back and the operator answered and hung the phone up without speaking several times. Then finally when he spoke he pretended he could not hear me. The service and the food was atrocious, I would advise anybody whom is considering ordering from this disgraceful excuse for a restaurant to go elsewhere. There are restaurants that will consider you a human being and treat you with respect without intimidating you at your doorstep in front of your children.
