Homestead Lounge - Eagle River

I absolutely love this place! It used to be my go-to spot on Fridays and Saturdays. I can’t believe I was here just a month ago and they were open, but when I came back last week, they were closed. I heard some news about it…

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was terrible, the music was unappealing, and the glassware was dirty. One of the staff members completely overcharged me. I won’t be returning.

This bar is decent, but the older male owner, who has short gray hair, comes across as a bit odd. He tends to stare at the bartenders for an uncomfortable amount of time, particularly focusing on one of their chests, which feels inappropriate.

This is a very welcoming spot for bowling, pool, and darts. It has a cozy atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind and have a great time.

I'm usually more of an indoor person, but I unexpectedly found myself teaching a few dance moves to another guest. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting on that cozy Monday night that I ended up ringing the bell twice. It's clear that the people from Eagle River have a different vibe compared to those from the big city. If I ever decide to move to Eagle River, I know exactly where I'd want to spend my evenings – with the wonderful staff at the Homestead Lounge and whoever else I might meet there.
