Taco Libre - Eagan

I recently dined at this restaurant and ordered tacos. Unfortunately, I discovered that the ground beef in one of the tacos was raw after taking a bite. The staff replaced the tacos for me, but this incident was the reason for my low rating of two stars. Despite this experience, I typically enjoy dining at this restaurant.

Fun atmosphere and good food. They have street tacos and other Mexican food. I had the Machete and it was really good and huge.

Warning to vegans: you may not find enough options on the menu to leave satisfied. I ordered a meat and cheese huarache but requested a vegan preparation with refried beans. Unfortunately, the huarache only had a light spread of refried beans. When I asked for more, I was reluctantly given a small amount. Although the meal was not very filling and overpriced, the food itself was delicious.

While I found it to be quite expensive, the Tacos and Empanadas were absolutely delicious. It felt like I was paying California prices, which I'm not used to. I'm not sure if I would pay that price again, but I do think it's worth checking out. $3-$4 per taco seemed a bit steep, especially when I usually pay five dollars for five tacos downtown. Despite that, the food itself was excellent. However, the service was mediocre.

Got me three street tacos. Don?t get me wrong, food was good however I didn?t think it would be so expensive. Everything was extra but if you want authentic Mexican tacos I would recommend this place. I do prefer chipotles bowls over third though. That is a personal preference
