The bowls were packed with high-quality ingredients, and the flavors perfectly matched the descriptions on the menu. We will definitely return. When we arrived, there was only one staff member at the front; he did an excellent job, but we had to wait quite some time just to place our order, even though there was no one else in line. Shortly after our order was taken, a second employee arrived and began cooking. We were pleasantly surprised to receive our food in less than 10 minutes after ordering, which was impressive.
The ordering process went smoothly, and the employees were fantastic. However, while I waited over 20 minutes for my street tacos, I took my first sip of warm beer. The fish taco was excellent, but the brisket tacos were disappointing—the meat was chewy and had that dried-out texture from being on the heat all day. I stopped by this location because my child was playing in a game nearby, and Rusty Taco has been a favorite of mine, so it was really disappointing to see this location not meeting the usual standards. I hope this spot can get back to the high quality I expect from Rusty Taco. Best of luck!
I was in line behind two groups of four, with only three employees working. It took us 21 minutes to receive our takeout order. The cleanliness of the place was appalling; it was clear that deep cleaning hasn’t been done in a long time. On a positive note, the person preparing our food did change his gloves before making our order. I appreciate the location in St. Paul and may try other branches, but this is my second disappointing experience at this location—there won’t be a third chance.
I've been a regular customer of this store since it opened. After my experience today, I will never visit this restaurant again.Our last FIVE delivery orders (submitted through the app) have ALL been wrong. They are either missing something, not prepared correctly, or the food is wrong. Today, the chips and queso for our 10 pack was AGAIN missed. Yet again, after having our order delivered, I had to drive to the store to pick up the rest of it, while our food gets cold. The bag of chips I got when I got to the store was pitiful. It wasn't even fully opened, the bag had a tear in it, and the top was mashed together and stapled. The store staff were abrasive and unwilling to help when I finally just asked for a refund of the entire order.We've spent $60 110 per week at Rusty as it's one of our favorite places to eat again, that is done.Hopefully this will save someone from having to go through the atrociously bad service that we've received. How disappointing that one of our favorite places to eat is no longer an establishment that cares about retaining their customers or delivering a quality product.Thanks for what used to be a great experience.
