La Fonda De Los Lobos - Eagan

The space is quite spacious, featuring a large dining area as well as a fantastic sports bar on the ground floor—perfect for fans, especially since this is a popular spot for Denver Broncos supporters! It’s a family-friendly place, not overly fancy, but their extensive menu indicates they know what they’re doing. The margaritas are lovely, offering good quality without any frills, unlike some places like Masa. The only downside is its somewhat remote location, but at least there’s plenty of parking available.

The reviews of La Fonda don't accurately reflect my experience. I've been dining there for 25 years, and the food is authentic and made fresh every day. I prefer La Fonda by a long shot over El Loro, which others have claimed is better. I wholeheartedly recommend La Fonda! If it's your first visit, be sure to try the Loborito or the Fajitas.

Tacoritto. I'm sad to see the reviews of this place. It was always my favorite place when I lived in Eagan a few decades ago. The Tacorito (now called Loborito) was always my favorite dish. Dancing down while the disco-era was funny.

Not fancy, but solid Tex Mex food.
