The Rel Wine Tapas

Loved this place. Great ambiance and the bacon wrapped dates, Ceasar salad, grouper with risotto, and crème brûlée we ordered were all 5-stars. Old fashioned was on point too!

The service was slow, the fish raised some concerns, and the steaks were tough.

I wish I could have tasted the food or drinks, but unfortunately, after waiting for a while, another table was seated nearby. When the waitress finally arrived, she went straight to that new table without even glancing in our direction. Maybe it was just the poor lighting outside? It’s possible, but it does make you think about the unconscious bias that can lead someone to favor one table over another without checking who was there first. Based on reviews, I'm sure the food is good.

We arrived at 9 PM, believing they were open until midnight as Google indicated. The restaurant was empty and preparing to close, and it took quite a while for them to seat our party of six, including two children. Overall, the service was disappointing, the prices were high, and the food quality was subpar. We understand we arrived late, but we had just gotten to town and were hoping for a nice meal for the price we paid.

The food, atmosphere, and drink selection here are all fantastic. The crab and lobster cakes were the best I've ever tasted—absolutely delicious!
