Restaurant Balsam - E Montreal

This new downtown restaurant is owned by the same owner and chef as the nearby Dominion Square Tavern. The atmosphere is lively but pleasant, and the service is both friendly and efficient. The tuna, cooked slowly, was delicious. This establishment is very popular, especially during weekday lunches, so it is recommended to make a reservation in advance.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, and the drinks are even better. The atmosphere is cozy, and all of the staff members are fantastic. Our waitress, Sara-Eve, was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. We would definitely return just to have her as our server. Additionally, the tall, thin bartender was also fantastic.

This Italian bistro is a hidden gem in the bustling city of Montreal, away from the usual tourist spots. The food is incredible, and the bistro is located right in the heart of modern Montreal. The bar serves excellent drinks crafted by expert bartenders.

Randomly selected this restaurant as a result of having a craving for Italian food, and it did not disappoint. The Farro with Wild Mushrooms was so delicious (and filling! . Paired with a couple of cocktails made it even better. Would definitely return, even if just for the ambience alone, or for a few drinks at the bar. The only downside was being seated in a slightly awkward spot, but we didn't book very far in advance and it did end up getting quite busy so I can understand why.

The salmon tartare was very good in taste, but could be a bit colder (it was warm). The dessert, orange ginger cake, was tasty and full of flavors. Service there is not bad, and the washroom is very fun (cuz of the designs). Especially, the soap is very interesting!
