Contribuiți la feedbackI went here with my mom today to get some breakfast and coffee, and we were not helped at the front counter for roughly five minutes. The worker did not acknowledge neither my mother or myself when we were ready to order, leaving us very confused. When we were helped, the service was subpar. I ordered the breakfast biscuit, and the egg tasted extremely fake. I would NOT recommend going here, as the service is poor and the food is even worse.
I've been wanting to try Maple Street Bistro for quite a long time and finally did this morning. It was very disappointing. We waited in line for 30mins, which isn't a big deal when waiting for yummy food, so we didn't even think anything about the wait. It wasn't until we received our order that we were unhappy. We ordered a breakfast sandwich, wrap, and 2 coffees. The wrap was cold in the middle. The potatoes were cold throughout. My sandwich was room temp, not even warm. The cheese was not melted at all since it was room temp and I didn't get the bacon on it that I had paid to add on. The coffees were very subpar. I wouldn't say they were gross, but not necessarily good either. I sure hope we just went through on a bad day, bit honestly we won't be back to find out. The service wasn't great either. The person who took our order wasn't rude, but not very friendly either. It seemed like they didnt really want to be there. They also did not present themselves in a professional manner whatsoever. They did not look like an employee of an establishment serving food/drinks. Paying $40 tip to wait 30mins for the experience we had was not worth it whatsoever.
Terrific panini sandwiches; try the Chicken Pesto and Malibu Club! Wraps, Espresso and a selection of housemade bakery items. Service was friendly in the midst of being very busy! Kid friendly outdoor seating. Vegetarian options: Veggie panini or wrap. Kid-friendliness: Coloring books, crayons, some books and a changing table for babies in the restroom.
We stop here on our way out from visiting family any time we are in Spokane. It is somewhat of a tradition now and kind of cool because we grew up not far from the location. Bottom line is: THIS is the cafe you want in your neighborhood. If I lived around here, it would be hard not coming in 3-4x a week! It 's super cozy quaint w/o looking old-fashioned, but not modern enough to be too hipster. Just the perfect balance. It IS on the smallish side, so seating might be an issue at busy times. Great outdoor seating as well, though. Food coffee/drink options have always been unique and fantastic and I was shocked at how little the proces seemed to have gone up since our last visit. So many things are made on premise and just shine- the bagels and bagel rolls are absolutely heavenly. Truly, truly. Service has always been great on every visit. Super friendly, lots of smiles and always so kind with our children (and patient with our boomer parents! LOL) Kudos to the owner of this place. What a little slice of joy for North Spokane. This is the cafe I WISH I could own and if I go for it one day, it would be the model in my head. Parking: Parking lot on BOTH sides. Worth mentioing, as depending what end you come in on, you might not be aware there is more on the other side. Kid-friendliness: If your kids are well behaved, and dont need to run around in wide open spaces, this is kid-friendly. If not, this probably isnt the spot for you.
A bustling little location that serves great breakfast sandwiches unlike any other I've ever had! Their house Latte flavors are unique and delicious. The service is wonderful. Quick and attentive. I love this cozy little coffee shop!
