Applebee's Grill Bar Restaurant

We had a very pleasant meal in a wonderful peaceful atmosphere. Service was excellent and prices reasonable!

First of all it wasn't much crowded when I went, it took them 35 min to get a burger with a wrong side order. Specially mentioned to get a medium rare cheese burger and what I received at 9:50 pm was a chewy hard overdone burger. No courtesy to replace or apologize. Manager didn’t even want to show up at the table.. waitress was new, said can’t do much about it, but did acknowledge its overdone by seeing it. I couldn’t eat so orders and packed a pecan blondie with icecream, which is usually my all time fav from Apple bee’s . To my surprise it was the worst dessert i ever tried. The blondie was hard as a rock, couldn’t cut with knife spoon or fork. The pecans were stale and had old smell. Anyways couldn’t eat more than a bite so threw it as well. Thank god the hotel i stayed had cup noodles for sale, survived on that tonight. Never ever go there: manager is rude , unapologetic definitely doesn’t know how to cook. He is the chef and manager, in one.

It wasn't real busy but I think they were short staffed. Service took a while but we didn't mind and the food was good.

We hadn't been to an Applebee's in years!! We decided to stop here since their local, out of this world, Grecian Steakhouse wasn't open, we waited for nearly 10 minutes just for the hostess to seat us and 2 other parties. The place had maybe 4 tables already sat and eating. They were only cooking with the fried side of their kitchen and out of several menu items you could order from the fried side of the kitchen. We left, I feel, if I am going to pay $10-$14 for a burger and fries I can get just as good at most drive thrus for less. We wanted steak or chicken pasta.....not available. We settled for the local Jack's..... not the greatest......they too, were out of lots of menu items. We both ate burgers that satisfied our hunger for less than $10-$14 a meal. Won't be back to the Dyersburg Applebee's. Sorry!

Took 1 hour to get food and it was wrong order! Restroom was the worst, nastiest I have ever seen! Probably will never eat at another Applebee's again!!!!!
