The Knot Irish Pub - Durham

Waitress stopped serving us drinks because we were going to tip at the end instead of every drink we got. Mind you, we did not leave the bar at any point and were within her view at all times Food sucks too so there's really nothing redeeming about this place. They call themselves an Irish bar but I couldn't find even one fucking four leaf clover. The ****? No wonder why this place is closing in a month... possibly the worst dining experience I've ever had.

Taylor is the best manager there! Love her, she was amazing when it came to dealing with dbags at the bar! Sooo much patience, mad props to all the employees that work there and put up with the craziness at times. Also really good daily deals on drinks.

Lived in Durham half my life and have never been here. First night tonight and will definitely be back! The bartender ladies were amazing, and the atmosphere was perfect

Stopped in here to meet friends for a drink apps before going to Haunted Overload in Lee this past October. It was not what I was expecting initially; it is a bar below grade is much smaller than anticipated. It seems like it's a great place to sling some drinks with friends hang out but not so much for a meal. I would assume it's a great college hangout. The bartender we had was pleasant attentive so no complaints in that department. I did have some wings jalapeno poppers; they were average. I may or may not go back considering I don't tend to come to the Durham area much at all.

The service was terrible, and it wasn't even busy. The drinks were not very good, Libby's is much better. The owner was not very polite at all after speaking with him- definitely would not recommended to anyone.
