Home Plate - Durham

We found this place by chance. what a wonderful sound! home boiled chicken, rice and sweet plus a fabulous peach bull for under $20 for the two of us. highly recommended.

They definitely met a home run at home plate! absolutely phenomenal house cooked eating and wonderful friendly staff! we will definitely return when we are back in the opposite!

Have been eating here for many years and seeing the same faces. always consistent house south kitchen. it is so cheap, sometimes I pay it for others in the line. I feel good!

I found this little jewel on a route. eating is amazing how the oma made it earlier. I have 2 pieces fried chicken, kartoffels, green bean, hush weep a side of deviled eggs and bananenpudding with a sweet tee all for 11$. the best food had in the old! definitely rise again

Staff is very helpful and kind. They are the definition of southern hospitality! The chicken ,the tea, the baked mac and cheese with the scrumptious cheese top and even their cakes are all DELICIOUS. Their prices are at great value and I love the convenience of the drive-thru. Do yourself a favor and try this place! Got plenty of food for two including dessert for under $25. A gem of a restaurant.
