Contribuiți la feedbackI can't rate this restaurant high enough. it is located in a magical environment, directly on the land. The tables outside are about 2 huge trees and next to the crimson garden where the fresh crimsons are used in the dressed. that was raised. I ordered fish, but next time I'll go veggie, because that was sweet and crawling incredible. the service was excellent, the lady who had served our table had really excellent English, which always helps if her French is not on scratch.
We made a reservation because we knew there were not many covers. although we were expected and arrived on time, we entered and waited a few minutes before we gave up on a greeting and went and sat on a table. it is reasonable...for a small restaurant to have a short menu and it was. the wine was local and good. eating was really not very good. it was unusual how ingredients were combined and I suspect that the boil could extort that we are not used for its eating. Maybe. we have eaten at many places about our lives and are in the rule for something new. but sometimes strange combinations are simply not very nice. there was another couple that didn't care much societality. the chef himself came to take our orders and bring the food. I think it was his wife who also helped. they were both friendly and friendly. we have the hope to find something special somewhere that we may take friends, but that is not one we risk.
A good lunch. we came early and the service was great, but it is a small restaurant and they can see that when they are busy, they need to make certificates. the meal was very good, many good things from the garden.
This wonderful little restaurant, which is thrown away in tiny village dureil, south of le mans, is a true jewel. it is so difficult to find, even if you are almost there! so persistent. and they find the small entrance into the building and its...beautiful al fresco outside area, very close to the sarthe river and its canal boat connection area. opening times and days should be checked beforehand. her website is very good. I live to check this place if it becomes too well known, but I feel that I have a duty to do so. the food and prices are also great!
We booked ahead and were looking forward to our evening after visiting their website. On arriving, we were seated and left with no menus, nor invitation to order drinks, for more than 20 minutes. There were two tables of two and one table of four...already dining, so the server could easily have welcomed us, seated us, handed us a menu, told us the special and taken an order for an aperitif. Instead, when we thought we ought to ask for the menu and order a cocktail, our server acted as though it was outrageous of us to have asked. My husband inquired where the Rose was from, and the server had no idea. She read the label. When pouring, she dripped wine by not turning the bottle. These are perhaps little gests which we take for granted, however, it 's clear this server has not been trained. She was inefficient (running back and forth) doing only one task at a time, unprofessional and impolite. The dinner itself was interesting . I ordered shark, two tiny slivers, served with turnips and blette. The combination, while original, was strange, to say the least. My husband ordered the lamb, a minuscule chop, served with a mutton ragout. I 'm all for recherché , but it was neither refined, nor rustic, it was disappointing. We did not enjoy ourselves and ultimately, if a restaurant makes you feel unwelcome, or it 's apparent they are unorganised, they 've missed an opportunity which is certainly the case here. Honestly, I cannot recommend this restaurant.
