R Hibachi Sushi Grill - Durant

Waitress wanted to argue with me about my sushi that I’ve been eating there since they opened then we had to ask for refills on tea. Asked for yum yum sauce and was told they was out! Got food for my daughter and brought it home it wasn’t even what I ordered! There was a group of us and sad to say but won’t be back!Owner contacted me and made sure that things got fixed! I will go back!! Thank you so much!!

Worth more than a 4 star rating, but not quite a 5. The food was fresh and had a good flavor. Servers were polite and attentive. The price is average to other sushi restaurants throughout Oklahoma. Definitely somewhere to consider if you're in the Durant area.

They mistakenly sent one of our entrees to another table, which caused us to wait longer for our order.

The sushi was decent, but the hibachi—though misnamed—wasn't great. The service was slow, even when the restaurant wasn't busy. The hibachi there is essentially just stir-fry, which is one of the quickest cooking methods. So I was surprised it took over 40 minutes for it to arrive. The dishes were overly sauced, which is common for hibachi items, making the experience hit or miss. Unfortunately, Durant doesn't have many better options.

Food is way overpriced for the quality. I got the hibachi steak and it is so tough! The only thing I recommend is the sushi. But just beware the prices online DO NOT match the menu! $40 for a low quality lunch to go meal.
