Hot Shots Coffee - Durant

The barista at this restaurant was extremely helpful as we were deciding what to order. The staff is always nice and the coffee is consistently good. Service: 5/5.

I had an unpleasant experience at this restaurant today. I am a regular customer and have always been greeted by friendly employees. However, I was shocked to learn that the woman who was very rude to me was actually the owner. I typically order the same dish every time I visit, but this time I made a mistake in my order and she corrected me in a rude manner. When I asked for a remake, she charged me for another drink instead of just replacing it. I refused to pay a total of $14 and she reacted by rolling her eyes and slamming the door. When I started recording her behavior, her attitude quickly changed and she apologized, claiming that the door had accidentally slammed shut. I have the option to go to Starbucks, but I prefer supporting small businesses. Despite the kindness of the other employees, I will not be returning to this restaurant.

I spent over $16 for 3 large cappuccinos and unfortunately, all of them were too bitter to tolerate. This restaurant used to serve the best coffee in town, but something seems to have changed. Hopefully, they can improve in the future. Food: 3/5.

We just moved here from Texas and found this place and come here every morning faithfully, the woman who works during the week is so sweet and even knows my husbands “regular”, the lady’s this morning weren’t so helpful and seemed to be a little rude, who knows maybe having a bad day but the coffees that were ordered seemed to have a bitter taste just didn’t taste like what we normally order, we went back to try and see about fixing the coffees and were mocked even held the coffee up and she said “looks like there’s creamer in it to me” as the other lady behind her laughed, I’m not normally bothered by things like this but definitely should be worked on.. but I will remain a customer I guess just on the week days

I've tried multiple drinks in various ways at this establishment because so many local people rave about it, but truthfully they are never good, and never made correctly. Very friendly staff but drive through always takes forever.
