Blue River Valley Winery - Durant

My husband and I were with Choctaw for the first time yesterday. What a jewel this little place is! The wine was amazing. The owners were so sweet and welcoming. They took care of us. We tasted over 12 wines and they were all amazing. Unique aromas and very refreshing. We left a whole case! A great experience I would recommend to everyone. We're coming back!

Probably one of the most peaceful and best wineries we have visited so far. The owners are the nicest people on earth who try some of the best wine (Blackberry and elderberry is on me and my wife tries in a while! In any case, this jewel of a place would recommend to anyone who crosses the area or just relax and enjoy some time with their partner or friends. I would give 10/5 rating if I were allowed! Although it's 1.5 hours from where we live, I'm not against a nice ride to enjoy this great place again! P.S. Dogs and donkeys are also very friendly:

That was a great stop!! Hubby and I found it not far from Durant, OK during a weekend. I'm not a wine drinker, but I knew my Nabeby liked it. Customer service was excellent. I have to talk to one of the owners W.H., and he told us about his process for making such a big tasting wine and how he began to make beer. We tasted the Tickle Me Peach Chardonnay, Strawberry Blonde White Zinfandel, Summer Breeze Watermelon White Merlot and Pleasant Hill Green Apple Riesling. We bought 2 bottles each of the first three!! Because the peach was so great, hubby bought a 3rd! Excellent taste and aroma. Just fantastic!! A must stop!

Great place to stop and taste some great Oklahoma wine. Just two minutes from the highway. Hillary is owner and simply go pleasure to sit down and taste wine.

They have a very polite and helpful staff with a wonderful selection of wine and cheese.
