Jack In The Box - DuPont

The food was terrible, but the staff were excellent. The dishes tasted like they were prepared in very old oil. I won't be coming back to this location. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2

However, I’ve noticed a positive change recently. The employees are much friendlier, and the food tastes fresher. My favorite item is the jalapeño poppers—I don’t think you can find better ones anywhere else. At the Jack in the Box in Bonney Lake, I had a small mix-up with my order, and they turned it into a generous goodwill gesture by giving me a treat, which really impressed me. I was doing deliveries for DoorDash at the time, so their thoughtfulness stood out to me. I’m giving them four stars for now because there’s still room for improvement, but I can see myself rating them five stars in the near future.

Disappointing. I used to eat here frequently when I was at JBLM, and the food was excellent. Both myself and the car ahead of me had to wait in the parking lot for our orders, with one in the dining area. The bacon was rubbery and the burgers tasted terrible. They looked like they'd been put together by a blind Parkinson's kid. The only good thing was the girl taking my order was courteous, despite the fact that she didn't ask if I wanted curly fries.

Overall, I'm a big fan of Jack In the Box, especially for its unique menu items. It's hard to find a place where you can enjoy tacos alongside your burgers! However, I've had some issues with the location across from Joint Base Lewis McChord. For a whole week, they ran out of fries and were only accepting cash payments. Because of this, I've started driving an extra two minutes to the Jack In the Box in DuPont. I prefer going there because I love the food and the manager keeps the customers happy.
