Great, traditional pub tucked away in Lyndhurst. Good food and beer. Worth calling in on your way around the Lyndhurst circular walk. Currently (Mar'22) closes relatively early but a great pub nonetheless. A short but worthwhile walk from the Forest Lodge Hotel. Recommended.

Good pub food. Fish was cooked well,still moist. Chips crisp and soft inside. Small portion of Moroccan veg terrine was just right. The staff were friendly and efficient.

The customer support was exceptional, and the genuine care shown to every guest was truly commendable. The same can be said for the chef, whose wonderful, high-quality food was perfect in every aspect. The atmosphere is inviting and sets a high standard. I highly recommend the Waterloo Arms to anyone looking for a calm and relaxing restaurant and pub experience.

The restaurant features a lovely garden where you can enjoy drinks and meals. The interior of the pub is charming, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The food is standard pub fare, meeting expectations. There's a great selection of local beers. We began and ended our 13km Lyndhurst Parish walk, also known as the pub walk, right here. Parking is available, and there's also Wi-Fi, along with reliable 4G service.
