Julia's Bistro - Dunnville

The place is OK. It's a remodeled Donut Diner with a lot of nice Italian restaurant style decorations. I ordered the Penne Arrabiata and my wife ordered spaghetti with meatballs. The meals arrived and they were identical, penne with tomato sauce and about a tablespoon of crushed chile peppers on both. I don't know what that was supposed to be. It certainly wasn't arrabiata and if it was supposed to be spaghetti, well it was not. I have a novel idea. Why not leave a shaker with crushed chilies at the table and let people add their own. A shaker of grated Parmesan would have been good too. We struggled through the meals anyway. We won't be back. Two stars because the potions were adequate and the prices good but you can't be fussy if you're going to eat here. You never know what you'll get.

Very friendly. Filtered water makes tea/coffee taste great! Fast service. Fresh food. Good quantity. Good prices

The waitress said to sit where I like and she would be with me in a few minutes. Waited 10 minutes, so I went to the counter and asked for a menu and beer while I waited. group of three men sitting nearby said 'Yes, so would we'. The waitress behind the counter opened the beer with her shirt tail and proceeded to clean the mouth of the opened bottle with her bare hand as she asked if I wanted a glass! Seriously!? I walked out without the beer and never having looked at the menu. Beware! If this goes on in front of a customer, what goes on behind the closed kitchen door!?

Great food, friendly service, happy kids, happy parents :) luna had her first sweet potato fries here.
