The Haven - Dunmore east

We had our wedding at the Haven in September 2023. What a beautiful setting by the sea. We had the best day of our life! Karen, the wedding coordinator, put us at ease during the booking process. Her and her team were there to answer our questions promptly and even facilitated small requests to help make the day truly special. The list of local suppliers included in the wedding brochure allowed us to plan our Wedding with ease from afar. On the day the entire team ensured a relaxed atmosphere which was exactly what we wanted for our wedding. It was the first thing we noticed when viewing the Haven just how friendly and accommodating the staff are. With such a big wedding we worried about accommodation but the majority of our guests got sorted in the locality in bnbs and holiday homes. Karen provided details of a local shuttle service which we hired for our guests staying more than 15 minutes away and Paul was there on the night ensuring everyone got home safely. This is just one example of how the staff of the Haven go above and beyond. We got fabulous photos in the park across the road the the grounds of the hotel which meant that we didn't travel far for scenic shots and could spend time with our guests at the drink reception. Didn't stay here ,just visited for a drink ,lovely pint of Guinness, amazing view

It can be difficult returning to a place that holds so many fond memories. But last night The Haven lived up to and surpassed expectations. This beautiful hotel is now in the hands of the next generation of Kellys and they are doing a GREAT job. Its not The Ritz, but in so many ways its better

Fantastic location with delicious food and friendly staff. The morning and bar teams were especially impressive. I can't wait for my next visit—well done to everyone!

Don't go if the Bingo is on as it's very loud and goes on til 11pm with tidying up still taking place until 12am. Room could have been cleaner.
