Vignoble De L’orpailleur - Dunham

This restaurant is part of the Vineyard de L'Orpailleur and is open from June to October during the harvest season. They offer an express menu for lunch as well as table d'hote options at a very affordable price. The wine list includes most of the wines that are offered at the vineyard next door and I was pleasantly surprised with their rosé which is now my favourite! The restaurant itself is very minimalist in terms of decor but the view of the vineyard more than makes up for it. We had a starter plate of homemade terrines and charcuterie which was just delicious! The second course was a vegetable salad that offered nothing exceptional but was tasty nevertheless. Our main of duck and seasonal veggies was good overall but the duck breast was a little over cooked however the red wine sauce and vegetables were perfect. We finished the meal with a slice of sugar pie which hit the spot but I was underwhelmed by the crust. The service was on point with attentive and friendly staff, and quick service. The knowledgable waiter was able to offfer excellent pairing suggestions from their wine list, which made for a great overall experience. Totally worth the trip from Montreal; I'd definitely go back for an afternoon at the vineyard after a quick lunch.

Beautiful winery with beautiful landscape. Your wines never disappoint and the restaurant has a wonderful menu. It's okay. The terrace is beautiful, especially when the vines begin to grow. A must for anyone who is a wine lover.

Very nice clean, big and modern winnery. Must have been a big investment. It has a restaurant but it was too busy so I did not try it. Plenty of parking available. Verdict : give it a try.

Grande vinícola na região. Fomos muito bem recebidos e atendidos. O ambiente é muito bonito e organizado. Tem a opção de degustação de vinhos. E para aqueles interessados em aprender sobre a produção local é possível assistir um vídeo sobre a história da adega. Eu recomendo provar e comprar o Vin de Glace.
