Our driver and guide frequented them on our trip and explained that his family has recently started one up at an old gas station. These drive throughs are often set up is recycled shipping containers. We stopped at Jimmy's Coffee, named after his dad, and were treated to a variety if coffee drinks and pastries. It was great! The staff were friendly and full of conversation. The coffee was delicious and we each got a locally-made chocolate treat as well
I discovered Jimmy's for breakfast many years ago and have made it a weekly tradition ever since. The food is top-notch and the staff are friendly and professional. Even though I no longer live nearby, I always make sure to stop by Jimmy's for breakfast whenever I'm in the area.
The food is delicious and reasonably priced, with fast service. I highly recommend this restaurant. Jimmy was very welcoming and made our experience enjoyable.
I visited a restaurant in a different town for lunch. They had a wide variety of Ulster Fry items cooked fresh. I decided to try the wedges with Bacon and Cheese, adding onions. The tea arrived quickly, followed shortly by the wedges. There wasn't much cheese on the wedges, but overall they were tasty. It should be noted that the wedges were frozen. The majority of the customers were older. The spacing and COVID procedures were well-implemented.
I drop into Jimmy’s fairly often and usually for their farmhouse fry-up. Guaranteed to set you up for the rest of the day! It’s a busy spot but the staff are friendly and attentive. And Jimmy himself regularly make the rounds with free samples of some freshly baked cakes! A great family atmosphere and not too pricey. Well worth a visit if you’re anywhere close to the Moy!
