Flying Cloud Tea Gifts - Dunedin

For anyone who loves tea, I would strongly recommend this place! Great ambiance, gift shop and large selections. It’s like going to a wine tasting, but for tea! I’m a big fan of tea rooms, but they’re expensive and there’s always some kind of intense food I have to run extra miles for...lol. Loved that you can buy small samples of all these random teas...and they steep it right there for you at the bar and pour it in a little cup to sip on! Great hang out spot to sit back, relax and chat with a friend or two. I tried six total between my friend and me each ordering three, then bought the Cactus Blossom tea which was outstanding. They also have some tea classes that looked interesting. A !

Once you step inside you realize this shop is a hidden gem in Dunedin. You must stop by. The shop is lovely, the people are great and the assortment of teas is outstanding.

This is a very interesting and unique tea shop in several ways. This shop provides an educational experience as well as the opportunity to sip some of the world's finest teas. You can actually sit at a tea bar, relax, and learn about the rich history and lore of more than 100 teas from around the world. The owners are passionate about tea and extremely knowledgeable. One sitting is not enough and I find myself coming back time and again to learn more and experience the many rich and varied tastes these teas offer. My current favorite is the Extra Fancy Pouchong, I actually ate the softened leaves after brewing, it was that good.

Found a great TEA place!!!! Forget Teavana this small mom and pop place was fantastic!!!! Check the place out if you're around Dunedin area. Big thumbs up!!!!!!

Flying Cloud Tea has a wide assortment of delicious teas and tea related items available at a reasonable price. (They even have some jewelry. It's a great place to shop for yourself, or to find a gift for a friend!
