Carvor's Fish House - Dunedin

We had a wonderful lunch on the patio at this restaurant! My husband opted to have some red snapper from the fish market next door, while I ordered the flounder nuggets. Both dishes were outstanding and came at a much better price for fresh fish compared to other places we've tried. We ended our meal with the key lime dessert, which was absolutely delicious! This vibrant local seafood spot has an attached fish market next door. Prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly. There is only outdoor seating available, and a restroom is on site. Be aware that they are quite popular on weekends, so if you're planning to get takeout, it’s a good idea to call ahead.

We dropped in on a whim, and I'm so glad we did! Finally, there's a local spot offering fresh fish and seafood that truly lives up to its promise of being fresh and locally sourced. The grouper sandwich I had was the best I've tasted in a long time. I really enjoyed the relaxed outdoor atmosphere, which has great shade, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We'll definitely be returning!

There was a line to order food but it moved quickly. Food was excellent and fresh. We had jumbo shrimp cocktail, a fried grouper sandwich and onion rings, fried green tomatoes, and Caribbean style shrimp tacos. The only bad part was the single corntortillas on tacos were slightly burnt and couldn't hold up to the wet slaw. We will definitely be going back and bringingfriends. Prices are good. Friendly service. Lovely outdoor dining.

Lovely place to eat. The decorations are very cute. Service was exceptional as everyone was extremely friendly and nice. Food was mediocre, though. I ordered the grilled shrimp skewers and it was good. Shrimp tacos (Caribbean style) was good but a bittoo spicy for me (this is subjective as some people might like it).
