Bascettis Italian Grille. - Dunedin

We had thought we would go to another restaurant and instead found this little gem. Eat was great! They had it in the bowling oyster with sirachi. that was a new taste. really good. traditional Italian meal, all good. had a saxophone player who made beautiful soft jazz. it turned out to be a wonderful evening, although it wasn't where we wanted to go. beautiful surprise.

Good food, good service, great ambiente, friendly, a way back to location.

Really enjoyed our dinner. we had a nice eckish. my dad, who is hard to hear, had no hard time to hear us so that noise level was minimal. the food was great. nice portions. the personal was great. will be back. that was our 2nd visit.

Good but not great Italian fare. The marinara sauce could benefit from improvement. My wife had the eggplant special over fettuccine and marinara and thought that it was okay. I had penne carbonara and thought that it was too soupy.

The food and service was awesome. Large amount of food for the price, and it is priced well.
