Excellent. Compared to restaurants in ChristChurch i just eaten, Taj Mahal has a competent price of less than 60%, and you can exchange partial rice with Naan if you order 3 nets less than $40). Rated.

I had a nice lunch today. I only have a chicken with naan and rice. Was amazed how much Naan I got and a decent amount of rice too. The butter chicken was very nice and for only $10 it is amazing value.

Great food, good prices and pleasantly attentive staff. Definitely worth a visit!

A small and incomprehensible restaurant that is very popular with native Indian families. The service was a little slow when it was so busy. But we were very satisfied with the food- some nice taste. Love the food, the prices are decent, the amount of Naan bread and rice at noon. One of my favorite restaurants with this mix. I'd probably go back there.

This Indian restaurant is outstanding! I've been many times and have never had a dish I didn't love. Easily the best Indian food I have ever eaten in my life, and for such an incredible price! The lunch special offers a curry, naan, and unlimited rice for only $10 and it's always enough to leave me full. Their Wednesday dinner special gives you an even larger portion of curry for $13, also with unlimited rice, but naan is separate. If you happen to be in Dunedin in time to catch the lunch special, you'd be a fool not to.
