South City - Dunedin

This is our favorite restaurant for both takeout and dining in—it's our local spot! We love it for its delicious dim sum and fresh Chinese cuisine. The food is always fantastic and affordable. The service is friendly and efficient.

I visited this restaurant to celebrate my 23rd birthday, and as always, the food, service, and prices were fantastic. Thank you! I highly recommend the prawn dumplings and squid tentacles.

I absolutely love this place! They offer fantastic and affordable yum cha with friendly service. I especially enjoy the Chinese soup dumplings and the radish slices. At just $4 each, it’s also a great value for money!

We have had yum cha here about 8 times now. The food has been excellent every time. We have tried food that we would not usually try and it's always delicious! Great service and value for money. Highly recommended!

Shangri-la is a nice Chinese restaurant in South Dunedin. Popped in on a Sunday evening. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and also very helpful with the menu options. Had some delicious yum cha for pretty cheap. They've also just updated the decor so it's a really pleasant setting. Will definitely be returning.
