Indian Spice - Dunedin

The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and they have excellent phone management, which is a big plus. They offer $10 curry specials on Mondays that are amazing, and I especially love their naan bread. However, my only issue is that they can be inconsistent. The first two times I went, I had a bad experience with their butter chicken being too oily. But when I decided to give it another chance, it turned out to be perfect. I often bring my friends and roommates here to escape, although sometimes the curries can be too oily. I suspect that this inconsistency may be due to the fact that the cook is not always up to par, even though they are certainly capable of making great Indian food. Just not consistently.

I have always enjoyed my meals at this restaurant. The samosas are delicious! The owner is very friendly. I usually order over the phone and the food is still warm when I pick it up. I am going to try the roti today.
