El Alibi is one of the most popular restaurants in Dunedin, especially on weekends when people flock to the Octagon. The décor is modern and they have a nice terrace, if the weather is good, which is not very common in Dunedin. The desserts are delicious, the meats are decent, and the fresh fish from the south of New Zealand is excellent.
