The Blue Grotto - Dundee

The prices at this restaurant are good. However, the fish seemed a bit old and would have been more enjoyable if served as fish cakes. A higher quality of fish would have resulted in a better review overall.

Ordered two fish and chips by phone. One for me, one for my brother...OH MY GOD! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I very rarely finish the chips, they're usually cold and taste awful but these ones were fantastic and I can't believe I ate them all. Will definitely be going back here. Frankies and the one next to Coldside Library will definitely not be getting our custom. Thanks so much Blue Grotto.

I ordered the jumbo fish and chips with a side of curry. The fish was excellent and cooked perfectly, the chips were crispy and delicious, but unfortunately the curry was served cold.

My go to for a fish supper in Dundee. Big portions and fish batter is nice and crispy. All for a reasonable price. They also offer a halal option too. Highly recommended.
