Oakwood Smokehouse Grill - Dundalk

We totally adore Oakwood. The food is always reliable, and the service is outstanding. However, they recently changed their cinnamon butter, and it's not as good as it used to be. We hope they bring back the old recipe!

This is our favorite spot for ribs and barbecue! We've never had a negative experience here. The waitstaff is consistently prompt, efficient, and polite. If there’s ever a mistake, they’re quick to resolve it! Our usual order is a full rack of ribs, accompanied by two sides and a drink. It’s always served quickly, and it's hot and delicious! They don’t take reservations, so I recommend bringing your patience or dining early, as the wait is shorter then. On our latest visit, we enjoyed two racks of ribs, green beans, coleslaw, baked beans, and Texas toast-style garlic bread.

The ribs were so tender they fell right off the bone and were flavorful enough that they didn’t need any sauce. They also served the largest cup of the best sweet tea I’ve ever tasted! Our waitress was very thoughtful and gave us an extra large cup to take some tea with us. The sides that accompanied the ribs were fantastic as well. The coleslaw was sweet, the baked beans were delicious, and the sweet potato fries were amazing!

Absolutely delicious. The corn fritters were OMGGGGGGGG good. The ribs were excellant, Lima beans were good and fries were hot fresh The pulled pork sandwich was very good and a lot of pork. The coleslaw slaw was very good as were the fries. Did mention the corn fritters were excellant?? Loved it and our server was great.

Ver good food and atmosphere. Service from Bryce was excellent, fast attentive and above and beyond for making special butter for my wife.
