Kim Wah Restaurant - Duncan

Basic Canadian Chinese food, the smorg looked good. I had wor wonton, an excellent sample of the cuisine. I've had better, but it was hot, tasty and filling. Friendly wait staff.

We had dinner here and ordered off the menu vs the smorgasbord. Food came quickly and was hot. Service was fast and friendly. Even a waitress that wasn't looking after our table came to check on us. Both of our kids ate all their food and wanted second portions. The restaurant was moderately busy and everyone seemed to be happy and enjoying their food. It's not a fancy gourmet restaurant but we were all happy with our experience.

Decided to try take out tonight. Had singapore noodles and spicy squid. Both dishes were barely etible and the leftovers were place directly in the compost. I do not recomend eating here.

I've been here 3 times. I would rate it about the same as shopping mall food court Chinese food. Not amazing, but definitely not great. Wish there was a really good Chinese food restaurant in Duncan - they just don't.

Arrived at 8:15pm, was told too late for the buffet, so just ordered dinner for 2. No special dishes but food was fresh, hot and tasty. Server was nice, polite and swift. Enjoyed the dinner, no complaints at all.
