Fairburn Farm Culinary Reatreat and Guesthouse

This is a heritage 5-bedroom farmhouse, spotlessly clean, beds to die for, friendly owners and friendly Water Buffalo - not a creature you see much of in North America. It's located on over 100 acres, a long time family operated working farm. Perfect for families, romantic getaways, really anyone. We loved it. Their hens provide the fixings for a great breakfast.

What makes a great bistro? Convenience, a chance to relax, good food and drink, and friendly servers This place meets all the requirements.

I really just want to add that we stayed at and reviewed this farm stay about a year ago, and after many wonderful trips all over Canada and the US (west coast primarily) and others places as well, we still think of this stay as sooo memorable. Thank you, you left us with such a calming peaceful memory! and well the ruhbarb muffins I remember too. You offered us some to go, and not to be greedy we declined but 2 hourly later on the ferry we regretted being so polite. Next time we won't, I fully believe we will make all the way from atlanta ga again soon. We have found a very special place in your island, thank you for sharing!
