The Jade Palace - Dumfries Galloway

Was camping nearby and found this takeaway on Google. Really pleasantly surprised a little gem! The best sweet and sour chicken balls I’ve ever had, everything was really hot and fresh. The curry sauce tasted a little bit like Katsu curry which isn’t a bad thing delicious! And it was very reasonably priced too! Would definitely return if I was in the area. :

Absolutely beautiful food, best Chinese in the Galloway. Cantonese style char siu fried rice may be one of the best dishes I've ever eaten, and not just out of Chinese food, so soft and aromatic

Don't get me wrong, I know Chinese isn't health food. But this was just horrible. Chicken chow mein swimming in grease, the curry sauce had been put in the bag on it's side so it leaked out over everything, through the bag and all over my car floor. The spring roll had so much grease it disintegrated the paper bag and the bottom fell out of the bag as well as the roll. What was left of the curry sauce was tasty, what I managed to save of the spring roll was OK. I'm never going back.

Quite frankly.....awful. Cheap chicken leg meat and weak sauce in Kung Po. Second time ordering the same, and both now confirm. Cheap ingredients, inexperienced chef and result is very poor quality. Good luck!

Usually have beef curry. Which is ace but decided for a change and got sweet and sour chicken and a spring roll. Absolutely delicious!! Might even have another on Sunday Such welcoming staff and they always smile and deliver to your car if needed. Our favourite.
