Contribuiți la feedbackWe stopped here for lunch, two coffees, one hot and one cold. We both had burgers with fries. We are both now unwell and that is the only food I ate today so we know for sure where we got the food poisoning from. Won’t be stopping g here again and will now report to Environmental Health.
Brief stop for refreshments, Egg mayo sandwich £4, no mayo ,half empty sandwich . Tasteless rubbish , coffee Luke warm . No cream for the hot chocolate . They are just in it to make as much cash as possible and not interested in customer service or satisfaction. . Typical Costa coffee only interested in profits.
Visited here because it was a good location to stretch my legs after bad road conditions on the A69. Lovely setting behind the service station itself. Packed with lots of people and their children. The site was littered with rubbish on the edges of the Car Park. Mcdonald's was busy with no social distancing in operation. The Toilets were absolutely disgusting. Toilets not flushed. Filth on the floors. A disgrace in these current Covid times. Management needs to note that this was the filthiest motorway station I have witnessed in decades. Whats can the hygiene be like elsewhere. I picked up a tea and a toasted sandwich and left in amazement and thought how bad was that experience! No obvious Covid precautions. No social distancing and Cleanliness the worst I have seen in decades . Toilet areas need a thorough deep clean and steamed to get clean. Better lighting would help
I stopped here briefly to have a quick bite to eat and refuel. I had the chozen noodles with a chicken breast and Katsu curry. I got the child’s portion as I didn’t want too much. It turns out this was enough for me. Very tasty and a big change from McDonalds or the Cornish Pasty place .
On arriving at this very busy McDonalds one would have assumed that due to their high volume of customer flow, one would expect to receive fresh food…. Alas this was not the case..! Both McCrispy chicken burgers were certainly crispy, even the interior contents of the burgers were overcooked and dry, so much so they both resembled “Tasteless Cardboard”
