The best food in the city! I have been to 100 restaurants, but Whynot is still the best. A new coat of paint wouldn't hurt, but the food is absolutely top-notch.

THE BEST IN DUMAGUETE. No doubt. This restaurant is located just in front of the Boulevard, near Bethel and other famous restaurants in the area. We went here for brunch and were extremely impressed. The food was exceptional, the service top-notch, the ambiance perfect, and the cost very reasonable. The menu offers a variety of options, not just Italian dishes, which was a pleasant surprise. We ordered a Karne pizza, large gratin, apple pie, swiss breakfast plate with coffee and juice, and tomato-based pasta with a complimentary platter of bread and salsa. All of this only cost us 1,300+ including the service charge. The portions were generous and everything tasted delicious. The gratin was a standout dish that left us speechless. We even had leftovers, particularly the pizza which we took home as take-out. Overall, the experience was fantastic and we would definitely return if we were still in Dumaguete. It's a solid 5/5 and worth every penny. Highly recommended.

Must-visit resto. Authentic italian food. Nice atmosphere. They have 2 buildings, 1 is a bit noisy, the other is good for a chill dinner time and wine. Ice cream gelato is also good. Lasagna serving is massive. Just go visit this place.
