Conveniently located near the 17th Marker of Magellan's expedition, it is close to many tourist attractions in the city. The prices are reasonable and the tapas, churros, tropical fruit pitcher, and spaghetti were all delicious. This is a perfect spot to grab a meal before shopping at Sans Rival and Silvanas. They open at 10am and usually close around 9pm. Their paellas can serve 4 to 5 people when paired with other menu items.
Ordering was not great here, yeah quite understandable because its crowded for visiting at around 430pm didnt expect that we had to help ourselves look for a table, get the menu, asked for someone to take our order too many times, waited too long for the order too. it was a crazy experience if not for the silvanas I would prefer to go somewhere else. I hope they can improve their system in assisting guests. Please do not disappoint again.
Again we were out for lunch with the family. The restaurant is well spaced out inside so your not crammed in. There were at least 9 staff in attendance when we were there in the afternoon, after the lunchtime rush. After various soups which arrived at different times, one after their main course of pasta had arrived. Two of us decided on the paella sea food mix, the remaning family member had the pork scalops with mash and vegitables. I think the pork dish had been revived in microwave. The paella was brought out on large dish for us to help ourselves. Prawns and clams were evident on top, but it soon became evident these we few and far between, we expected much more for the ph420 price, disapointed with this meal. Service staff were not attentive and had to be told to bring large plates. The only saving grace with this restaurant is the selection of deserts, a large range to choose from. Summing up more attention to portion consistancy and correct phasing of courses. Staff to be more attentive and chatting in huddle near the desert counter to be discouraged.
I thought the food was decent, but we ordered spare ribs and when they arrived, they were not shaped like ribs; just a small, round bone with no meat at all. The waiter apologized and brought us a replacement, which turned out to be a lump of gelatinous fat covered in sauce. We were unable to eat it.
The restaurant consistently serves delicious food, but almost everything else is hit or miss. The wait time is notably long, making it feel like hours before the food is brought out. Indoor seating is usually full, so we had to dine outside on a rainy and windy evening. It was just bad luck, but others had even worse experiences. The restaurant gets extremely busy during peak hours. While the food is fantastic and worth the cost, the overall poor experience outweighs it. If you have time to spare, it might be worth a visit, but for a quicker dining experience, it may be better to look elsewhere.
