El Amigo - Dumaguete City

I enjoy coming to this restaurant for their delicious Margherita or cheese pizza, paired with a pitcher of iced tea. The pizza here is thin and the best I've had in the Philippines. However, it can get very noisy in the evenings, especially when there is live music and a lot of customers making noise. If you're looking for a quiet place for conversation, this may not be the best choice.

This restaurant is well-known for its relaxed atmosphere. You can enjoy a cup of coffee and study in their air-conditioned room, or sit outside at their tables and start drinking. They also offer food of above average quality, with pizza and pork steaks being popular choices. However, the main draw here is their drinks. It is considered one of Dumaguete's best hangout spots, popular with both local bands and residents. Conveniently located near Silliman University and the Boulevard area.

I tried a beef burrito with BBQ beef and cabbage filling, but found the flavor to be all wrong. The quesadilla I also ordered was disappointingly thin and lacked filling flavor. Overall, the dishes did not match up to authentic Mexican taste or portion sizes. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Pizza and some pork steaks would do the deal. But if you come here, I bet you're more into their drinks. One of Dumaguete's best hangout place indeed for local bands and locals alike. Architecture originale, style factory, sa terrasse extérieure semi-couverte avec structures acier et tôles, grand escalier extérieur. Des salles au rez-de-chaussée et à l'étage, mezzanine. Très bonne ambiance, parfois des concerts. Tout près de front de mer et face à Siliman University. Agréable et très fréquenté.
