I had 4 days vacation in Dumaguete City. In those days I ate in 7 different restaurant. The best I had in the city. If you're a tourist, try these restaurant.
A friend who loves good food took me to this new restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. It's located in a quiet area of Dumaguete, away from the usual dining spots. The restaurant is small and cozy. We started with refreshing salads and had a delicious seafood dish (tuna) with radish strings that complemented the flavors perfectly. The native chicken was incredibly tender, and the beef stew was also excellent. The chef, who trained in Manila and Los Angeles, has done a great job of elevating local dishes to a culinary delight. I will definitely be coming back to this place soon.
There is a limited selection of dishes to choose from so you won't feel overwhelmed. The food is delicious and the restaurant is charming. They have different menus for lunch and dinner, and the staff and chefs are very friendly. We went to celebrate my sister's promotion and received a complimentary dessert. The portions were generous and we left feeling very full. A must-visit restaurant for food enthusiasts. :)
Finally after a long wait Dumague has a true fine dining option. The menu is small and focused, food is truly fantastic for a laughbly low price! The starters we had were simply divine and the main courses hit the spot. It seems that Adamo made the impossible, the dishes were just perfect size which is rare.
