The food here is incredible, always fresh, amazing flavor, great quality overall. The building itself is super cute and nice and cozy when sitting inside, especially if you're in one of the booths in the back. The bar side is a great place to stop in if you're looking for a good cocktail without having to deal with the college kids. Super friendly people, always a great experience. Couple of tips weekends are crazy busy, especially Saturday and Sunday breakfast/brunch. There are tons of options for every lifestyle vegetarian, vegan, carnivore, herbivore, pretty much everyone will have a few options to choose from. I personally love their vegetarian meals. Finally stay for dessert! Or, better yet, come in on the off hours for a coffee and slice of cake.
It's a cute little place. Not very busy in the evening. We had the Korean chicken sandwich and street tacos. The fries were good paired with their house made ranch. The atmosphere is a little cramped, and the service is lacking at times, but I understand that their job is hard and that some days are just rougher than others.
After reading so many stellar reviews, we headed over here after our half marathon. The atmosphere is welcoming and eclectic. We both ordered warm drinks to take the chill off hubby a chai latte and me a turmeric golden milk. They hit the spot; in fact hubby liked his so much, he ordered a second one. We had looked at the menu online but apparently the seasonal menu recently changed so I wasn't able to order what I had hoped to. I did have the portabello wrap but although it may sound strange, I subbed piquillo peppers for the portabellos since I don't like mushrooms! The rest of the warm wrap had tempeh, house made Boursin cheese, tomatoes, and olive tapenade (although I really couldn't taste the tapenade). It was warm and delicious. Choice of sides include chips, house made tortilla chips, or carrots; I chose the tortilla chips and they were good. Hubby had the brisket au jus and a side of tomato bisque. It looked small but there was a generous portion of brisket. He enjoyed both. Our table was in view of the desserts and since we had run a half marathon, I figured I earned a treat and chose the blueberry crumble pie. Had I known it was $13, I might have given it a second thought (but it was a generous sized mini pie). Tip: ask to have it warmed up! It was initially served ice cold and even after I asked to have it warmed, it was still cold in spots. This is why I gave the review 4 stars instead of 5 but otherwise we had a very satisfying meal.
What a wonderful find. We ate here for breakfast and it was savory and delicious. I had the cowboy hash and it was a carefully constructed dish with brisket, potatoes, pickled red onions, jalapeños (not too much) and aioli,, topped with two lovely eggs. My husband had the wild rice sausage benidict, which was also top notch. I wish we had been able to go back for lunch or dinner. Try it. You won't regret it. Food A+. Service A+. Ambiance A.
My mom and I went here for a celebratory lunch and had a difficult time choosing what to get because everything looked so good. We ended up splitting the Japanese pancake and the Cowboy Hash and both were phenomenal. The service was so friendly and the right amount of attention. We especially enjoyed talking with Deb who gave us recommendations on dessert and was able to answer our questions about the food. We will definitely go back again and look forward to trying more of the menu!
