There is a sign in the window with a new name, Il Fortuna, but it seems like there has been no activity for quite some time. It is a shame because they served delicious breakfast and cakes.
I waited for an hour to receive my order of eggs and fries. When I asked the waitress about a type of bread on the menu, she replied that she didn't know and didn't offer to check or inquire further. When my food finally arrived, it was placed on the table without any acknowledgment of the delay, not even a simple "here you go" or "enjoy." It felt like we were inconveniencing the staff because it was busy. The food was average at best. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this restaurant.
I paid 19 euros for a sandwich and soup at this restaurant. The staff was very poor. I asked for tap water and was charged 2.6 euros for it. This experience was a waste of both my money and time.
This place is right on my door step so its only right I rave to others about it, I've been here too many times to count and never had any complaints, even my little niece adores the place as they do the cutest tea cups and teapots, but the egg dishes they do are the real stars here! My daughter always seems to go for the pancakes and my friend the club sandwich, lovely family atmosphere in their and all the girls are just lovely. I enjoy spending a sunday morning catching up with friends and having a cuppa in their and they never seem to mind we over stay our welcome.
Visited here today. Arrived with a double buggy (awkward for moving around) Staff were so friendly and accommodating. In particular the lovely friendly lady who served us. Breakfast was lovely.
