Roadside Grill - Duck

This restaurant features outstanding cocktails, delicious dishes, and a diverse yet concise menu. While there are some seafood options available, you'll find plenty of other choices to satisfy your cravings. The establishment includes a laid-back bar that has a rustic charm, adding to its unique character. The staff works well as a team and is always friendly and welcoming. Prices are typical for a resort area. Guests can enjoy both indoor and outdoor seating, and there's ample parking available behind the building.

We were seated outside as a party of nine within five minutes of our arrival, which was perfect since the temperature was a pleasant 70 degrees. They served us some delicious complimentary bread. Our server consistently checked in on us, which was great. The food was on the pricier side, but definitely worth it! I particularly enjoyed the seafood.

We dined at 6:00 PM on Saturday night, and while the restaurant was busy, both the service and the food were outstanding. We started with the delicious pulp bread and tried two different types of soup. I had the fish of the day, which was flounder, and my husband ordered the Roadside Meatloaf. Our waitress was attentive, even though she was managing a busy night with only two servers on duty. This was our first visit, recommended by a friend, and we were not disappointed. If you enjoy cocktails, be sure to sample some of their mixed drinks. Between the two of us, we tried four different cocktails, all expertly crafted with excellent flavor balance. We ended the evening with a slice of homemade lime cake, which was also delightful. Our only complaint would be that the meatloaf was a bit too salty for our taste.

Cool place with open seaside atmosphere. Dishes were hit or miss. Fresh fish seemed to be a hit, pasta dishes not so much. and a bit pricey. Average meal was $50+ for our group of 8 adults. No kids menu. Skylar our waitress was excellent.

Take a walk on the way back to this small backyard bar with lots of very good live music. Unfortunately, the back bar is not fully in stock, so do not expect the world. Draw a chair and enjoy the Woodstock feeling from this lively little place and enjoy the ambience. Cheers!
