The Vault Cocktail Lounge - Dubuque

I had a half sandwich and soup at the restaurant. I really liked it. French onion soup is one of my favorites, and this one was fantastic.

You must try the giant pretzel, it is amazing. The food is typical for the price, a bit on the higher side for the area, but reasonable for a nice evening out.

We made a reservation because we had to quickly make it to a show afterward. The service was excellent, and we never felt like we were being rushed. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals and finished them. We ordered the fish and chips, Cajun pasta, chicken sandwich, and melt sandwich, all of which were generous portions.

We really enjoyed dining at The Vault. Loved the Mahi Mahi mango special. Jen, our server was great. Excellent beer, wine liquor selections.

Felt VERY rushed. We were asked about dessert before we were even half way through our meal. Handed check while still eating. It was only 8 pm and they close at 9 so not sure what the rush was. Server was very nice. Food runners need more training on customer service.
