Lanii - Dubrovnik

I went to this restaurant and unfortunately, they do not have any vegan options. The staff confirmed this to me. I have requested for them to consider adding vegan dishes, but in the meantime, I wanted to warn everyone about this. This review was updated on October 18th, 2022.

I ordered the vegan risotto, which was essentially oily roasted rice with carrots and soy sauce. When I inquired about the dish, the waiter rudely replied, "Risotto means rice, you know." This was the only vegan option on the menu and for the price of 13 Euros, I was expecting something better. A Greek salad without a main meal option doesn't suffice, in my opinion.

I ordered the vegan pasta napolitana, but received glass noodles topped with tomato sauce and cheese instead.

A cute restaurant off of the Main Street in old town. They have vegan options labelled on the menu. I asked if the vegetarian spaghetti could be made vegan, the waiter clearly understood and explained he would swap the egg pasta out for me. The food tasted lovely.

So the personal was really friendly! eating was incredibly good, especially the steak! the prices are quite high, but not above the top, dubrownik is expensive, we all know that. we have tried many restaurants here and think that this is one of the best!
